Sport and Recreation Facility Development Grant
The Department of Local Government, Housing and Sport (NT) is providing funding of $50 000 per annum to sport and recreation organisations to improve the capacity of sport and recreation organisations to provide appropriate, affordable and accessible sport and recreation opportunities for all Territorians through Facility Development.
Local Sporting Champions Program
The Australian Sports Commission is providing grants of $500 for successful individual applicants, and $3000 for successful team applications to provide financial assistance for junior sportsmen and women towards the cost of travel, accommodation, uniforms or equipment when competing at an official national sporting organisation (NSO) endorsed state or national sporting competition.
Satellite Phone Subsidy Scheme
The Department of Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy provides funding of up to $1,000 to help people living or working outside of terrestrial mobile phone coverage to purchase satellite mobile phones.
The Global Fund for Women Grants
The Global Fund for Women provides grants of $5,000 to $50,000 per year for operating and re-granting expenses to support women’s groups that advance the human rights of women and girls.
Ace Sponsorship Program
Australian Communication Exchange is providing funding of up to $20,000 to support events or projects that’ll benefit the Australian Deaf community and Australians with a speech, communication or hearing impairment.
Employee Volunteer Grant Program
National Australia Bank (NAB) is providing ongoing funding to help community or non-profit organisations that work with NAB employees as part of the bank’s Employee Volunteer Program. NAB provides two days paid volunteer leave each year for its employees.
Youth Enterprise Trust (YET) Program Grant
The Youth Enterprise Trust is providing ongoing funding to support young Australians from all walks of life discover a sense of their self worth, a feeling of connection with this country and a drive to pursue their personal goals and ambitions by covering the full cost of the program for young people who otherwise could not participate.
Matana Foundation for Young People Grant Program
Matana Foundation for Young People is providing ongoing, various funding of $1,000 - $10,000 to organisations that share the Foundation’s common purpose and vision to assist disadvantaged young people to benefit from and contribute to the common good and provide a vehicle which nurtures self worth.
Transition to Independent Living Allowance
The Dept of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations is providing ongoing funding of $1500 to assist some young people who are making the transition from formal and informal care to independent living. If you are eligible for Transition to Independent Living Allowance (TILA) you can get assistance in paying for some of the things you need to successfully make the transition to independent living.

The Australian Sports Foundation is proving various, ongoing funding to assist the development of sport in Australia, aiming to increase opportunities for Australians to participate in sport and/or excel in sports performance.
Aboriginals Benefit Account
Through the Aboriginals Benefit Account various, ongoing funding is available to support projects or initiatives which directly benefit Aboriginal people living in the Northern Territory. ABA money can be used to support initiatives that promote economic development, small business, land and sea management, community enhancement or education and leadership.
Parliament and Civics Education Rebate
The Dept of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations is providing various, ongoing funding to provide a subsidy for schools travelling more than 150 kilometres to visit the national capital as part of a civics and citizenship education excursion.
