Film Workshops Touring in 2012
In The Bin is Australia’s largest touring cultural event, and they will be touring again in 2012! They offer three day film education programs where students learn while creating, shooting, and editing their own short films. All of the production equipment will be provided by In The Bin, including industry standard editing hardware.
Up to four films will be made in the three days and their films will be showcased at the conclusion of the workshop. The tour will also feature special screenings, green screen workshops, and other workshops and activities to cater for specific needs and clients.
In addition to touring, In The Bin also provide video production services for all regions of Australia, and do so in a unique way where they train people in the community to be the production crew. This lowers costs to the community, provides a learning experience for participants, and creates a more connected outcome.
This year they have decided to cap their touring location numbers to provide greater service and communication with the communities that they will be working with. Touring dates are extremely limited and they have already booked up 40% of their national tour.
