NAPCAN Mandatory Reporting & Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect Training in 2012
This training is ideal for staff working with children and families in Family Support, Youth Services, Crisis Accommodation, Family Violence or Early Childhood Services.
Training will be taking place throughout the year in Tennant Creek, Katherine, Nhulunbuy and Darwin.
Participants will learn key skills in identifying and responding to concerns regarding the safety and wellbeing of children including:
• Mandatory Reporting of Child Abuse and Neglect – rights and responsibilities
• Risk and Protective Factors in children, families and communities
• Key Child Abuse Prevention Strategies
• Local, national and international tools to engage and support vulnerable families
• Overview of additional Training available through NAPCAN
