NT Women’s Award in Human Rights
In conjunction with International Women’s Day 2012, the Northern Territory Council for Human Rights Education (NTCHRE) is organising an Awards Night on 9 March 2012 at Charles Darwin University from 6pm-9pm. The purpose of this public event is to recognise Northern Territory women who have made significant contribution to the advancement of human rights. The event will also welcome guest speaker Samah Hadid, 2010 Australian Youth Representative to the United Nations, who will speak about the role of women in human rights.
