safeTALK - Suicide Alertness for Everyone

Published on January 31st 2012 - Filed under: Professional Development

safeTALK is a short, practical half day workshop which encourages suicide alert communities. Suicide is mostly preventable. Most people with thoughts of suicide want help to live and a small gesture of support can be life saving. The skills taught in safeTALK are designed to give participants a short clear process that anyone over the age of 15 can follow to become a suicide alert helper in the community.

Cost:

$65 (including GST) for volunteers and not-for-profit organisations

$80 (including GST) for government workers and businesses

Next workshops:

Alice Springs - 7 March 2012

Tennant Creek - 13 March 2012
