Supporting Children after Separation Program (SCASP): CatholicCare NT
CatholicCare NT is offering all parents and children clients an opportunity to participate in the Supporting Children after Separation Program (SCASP).
This program offers support to parents and children to address issues such as grief, loss, anger and depression associated with the separation of parents and ongoing conflict.
The program aims to develop:
- Problem solving skills – Children will learn to face and deal with their emotions resulting from parental separation
- Resilience – Children will learn “importance of self”, increasing their self regard and confidence
- Perseverance – Children will learn to create goals and persist in reaching goals undertaken
- Safe living practices – Children will learn to take care of themselves, the importance of healthy food, drinking adequate water and maintaining positive relationships.
If you are interested in taking up this offer for yourselves and your children, or would like further information, please contact Manisha on 89442000.
